Who it is for
You take work in the jurisdictions where you are admitted.
Once approved, you take the same tasks and reviews, except jobs restricted to lawyers.
You apply on the same form as lawyers and legal professionals.
How it works
Tell us who you are and where you practice. A person at FinePrint reads it, and approved applicants receive an activation code.
Add your admissions, practice areas, hours and conflicts. FinePrint checks your bar standing and your LinkedIn.
Your queue shows the work matched to you. You choose what you take.
The work
A request in AnswerLoop names the task, the area of law, the state, the turnaround and the rate before you take it. The file opens when you take the request.
You give your answer and the reason for it. If you change the model's work, your edits are tracked against its version, and you record the governing reason: its type, the citation, and the rule in one sentence.
You submit, and your answer is locked. It is recorded with its reason.
Company records stay separate from shared model training.
Advance Legal AI
FinePrint LM is the model the Legal AI Team runs on, so each new answer builds on what lawyers approved before.
For companies See the three review paths
AnswerLoop is where lawyers and legal professionals check the work of FinePrint LM, the model the Legal AI Team runs on. FinePrint is a legal technology company, not a law firm.
You answer legal questions you already know how to answer: which of two answers is better, whether a summary is accurate, whether the model missed a risk. You also review Legal AI Counsel work that needs a human check.
You give your name, email, phone and LinkedIn, and say who you are. A person at FinePrint reads every application, and approved applicants receive an activation code. You then complete your profile.
Every task is worth points, set by the minutes it lists: 100 a minute for a labeling task and 170 a minute for a review. Your tier sets what 1,000 points is worth, from $25 to $40, and the points you earn over time raise your tier. Hourly rates assume 60 listed minutes, so a 2-minute task pays $5 to $8. You can cash out from 5,000 points, and FinePrint pays weekly.
No. You are paid for your judgment, not for agreeing with the model. Only a rejected submission can take back the points it earned.
AnswerLoop is open to licensed lawyers in good standing and approved legal professionals. Your queues follow your admissions and practice areas, and some jobs are restricted to lawyers.
A labeling task takes thirty seconds to two minutes. A review takes two to ten minutes. You choose your queues and the work you take.
Tasks are synthetic or anonymized, and the reviewer terms bar any attempt to identify a party. You declare your conflicts, and FinePrint checks them before a task is offered to you.
Not on a task. You answer a bounded question about a document, with no client, no engagement and no advice. A matter review is different: the customer has engaged you, and your access ends with the matter.
Yes. Approved reviewers can invite colleagues from their account.

The application asks who you are, where you practice, and a profile we can check. A person at FinePrint reads it, and approved applicants receive an activation code.
