FinePrint Solutions Contracts

Know what a contract commits you to before you sign

Send FinePrint Counsel the agreement a customer or vendor sent you, or ask it to draft yours. It reads the draft against your company record and your approved positions, then prepares a redline and an issue list. Lawyers supervise the work.

What a signed contract commits you to

A customer agreement sets what you deliver, what you are liable for, who owns the work, and how the agreement renews or ends. A vendor agreement sets the same terms from the other side. Once it is signed, the company is bound by every clause, including the ones nobody read closely.

This is Legal AI Counsel's job. FinePrint Counsel's Commercial teammate reviews the other side's draft, and prepares your own NDAs, customer agreements, statements of work and vendor agreements from the terms you have approved.

How FinePrint Counsel handles a contract

  1. You upload the agreement and say whether you are buying or selling, what the deal is and when you need to respond.

  2. It shows the plan and what it will cost before it starts. You decide.

  3. It checks the draft against the agreements you have already signed, so a new promise does not conflict with an old one.

  4. It reads each clause against your positions and lists every place the draft departs from them, tied to the contract language.

  5. Where your positions already answer a point, it applies them, then prepares a redline and a short issue list for the other side. The approvals the deal needs go to the people who give them.

Where a lawyer reviews the contract

Legal work follows a process lawyers approved and sample-check. Work that needs additional legal judgment waits for review by a lawyer or an approved legal professional.

On a contract, that can include liability caps, indemnities outside your positions, exclusivity and most-favored-nation terms, and any change to who owns the IP. You see the lawyer's decision and the reason in the task. The price, the term and which risks to accept stay your decisions.

The contract matter after review: the customer's draft and two redlines kept in order, the three-point issue list sent back to the customer, and the approvals still to be given.

Check later messages against the signed terms

FineShield is the other half of your Legal AI Team. Once the contract is signed, it works like legal autocorrect: it checks email, Slack and calls against its terms, and flags a reply that breaks them while it can still be fixed.

A reply to a customer, held by FineShield. The refund sentence is struck through, the clause it breaks is quoted beside it, and a reply that keeps to the contract is underlined in its place.

Your delivery policy requires operations approval for a firm date. Consider saying: “Let me confirm with our team before we commit to Friday.”
